Walk around

Crabapple Creek
Trail

Crabapple Creek Trail meanders up and down all through the woods.
Described as loop trail in local literature; inaccurate as terminus is in different spot from trailhead. Two main entry points: the end of 2nd Avenue at the cul-de-sac; or adjacent to the Queen Charlotte Mainline road, near totem pole and old logging equipment. Trailhead clearly marked in both with signage “Crabapple Creek Trail.”
Reasonably well  maintained, provides beautiful forest views.  Takes you alongside the Crabapple Brook loop. Some muddy & steep sections; sturdy footwear advised. Note that trail links up with informal “Backyard Trails” system; keep to marked trail unless you’re familiar with the area.
Total walk time is roughly 30 minutes one-way.

to the west of town, with an elevation change of around 40 m (130 ft).
